Live Your Legend Day 5 - My Elevator Speech.

Here is my elevator speech for my business...

“I have a business that helps people sell their unwanted houses and help rehabbers make a nice profit on these unwanted homes. And lately I’ve been putting together a team to rehab and flip these very same houses. My business also just started a new program that helps people who are fed up with the stock market and are looking to get better than average returns. This new aspect of my business allows people to invest in real estate without having to deal with toilets and tenants, but yet still yield great profit gains."  Let me help you turn your IRA/401K into an ATM with unlimited funds to withdraw! 

I am building this business because I love helping people. I consider myself to be in the real estate problem solving business.

Day 4 Blog Challenge - What's one thing you're proud of?

Picking one of my most proud accomplishments to date is a challenging question. 

My proudest accomplishments after finding love of my life and being the father of 4 awesome kids, I would say it was my first real estate sale!  I remember how great it felt helping my cousin and her husband find the perfect house for them. 

To see how happy they were to be first time homeowners was an indescribable feeling.  I also took joy in how I was able to negotiate such a great deal for my cousin and her husband.  When they sold this same house 5 years later they were able to walk away with a $50K profit!  Add to the fact I received an awesome first time commission for my work made the experience exhilarating.  

The extra money I made as the realtor on this deal allowed me to spoil my wife for a weekend!
I want that feeling again!!!!

Day 3 Blog Challenge - What do I love helping people with.... or What would I be happy and excited to do that helps others, even if I didn't get paid?

I love talking to people about real estate, boxing, football, basketball, and baseball.  I also love to be that good listener for people who are lost at the moment and need help finding their way. 

Why do I love real estate? I love helping people buy their first home! The joy of buying your first home one life’s greatest moments. To help people find that joy is awesome. I want to become the next great House Flipper, which restores homes that the new homeowners will proudly call home. I will take great joy in knowing that I am helping the community and helping people stay employed.

I love boxing so much, many of my family and friends will call, email, and or text me about the next great fight! I love breaking down the strengths and weaknesses of boxers.

My other co-favorite sport is football. I love, love, love, to talk football! I am a proud Texans fan! But I also enjoy watching other players from other teams do almost super natural things. If I could find a way to get paid to talk about football, I would do it in a heartbeat! I am seriously considering starting a podcast centered on football.

Basketball and baseball are also favorites of mine which I could easily talk about for hours and hours. As you can see, I am kind of a sports fanatic!

Another passion I have discovered within my self is desire to help people! I want to help motivate people to lose that weight they so desire, find that awesome job, and build great relationships with spouses, family, and friends.

Day 2 - Blog Challenge - What Makes Me Angry...

I was given the task to discuss what makes me angry!!!

I gave this idea some deep thought.  I initially came up with simple and superficial topics of things that drive me totally crazy. Things like traffic, always rushing in the morning trying to get the kids to school on time, dealing with my boss, and complaining about my company.  But after spending several hours digging inside my soul I found the answer.  

The number one thing that drives me crazy is myself. Strange isn't it?  But, all my anger lies within me because I feel like a prisoner within my body and mind.  My anger with myself stems from my feeling of lack of accomplishment, dissatisfaction with my current job, and most of all fear!!!  I have a great passion for real estate, sports, and wanting to help people believe they can be more than they think they can be.

I read several blogs about other people's journey dealing with fear and conquering fear.  I want to say thank you to those people who wrote such inspirational messages about their challenges, failures, and victories. Reading those blogs has given me hope and fueled my fire to win the race and conquer fear.  I am in the process of training my mind to use fear as a motivational tool.  To borrow a phrase from Nike, "Just do it", is my motto. I chose this motto because it depicts ACTION, the momentum killer of fear. My hope is that I can help someone overcome their fears to lead the type of life they want to lead because of my blog posts!

I write this post with a heavy heart because I lost a very special aunt less that 36 hours ago!

My Aunt Lillian Villarreal was an amazing person!!!!  Here tireless efforts to serve her community, her willingness to fight for people who could not fight for themselves, and her loving spirit has convinced me to pick up the torch and follow her lead!

Here is my starting line.........

My number 1 goal is make each and every post from here on out IMPACTFUL.  I will strive to inspire you to take ACTION!
